Fall tendency

Autumn is just around the corner and all the stores are launching their new collection. Among the colorful clothes, they have their amazing footwear!

For this Fall the stores are betting on l,ow cut boots, loafers, a lot of shine and spikes!

You don’t have to spend to much money on shoes…stores like Zara, H&M, Mango, Bata are full of amazing shoes!

Music of the day

As I mentioned before, on the 16th is the start of Gampel Openair. There will be many good bands playing! To give you a taste of the festival here are some of the bands playing.

Find of the month

I was very skeptical about moisturizer cream with foundation. However, I gave up my skepticism and bought the BB cream Garnier. I actually think that it made my life easier. Don’t get me wrong, if I have an important event to go I would use proper foundation, but this cream is an easy solution for an everyday workweek!

The cream is quite oily, but they have a version for oily skin, which I think is better otherwise make sure to use a matte powder together with the cream. The advantages are, the SPF factor, the duration of the cream and it does make your skin look better after a few days of use.

Necklace Cabinet

I bought this little key cabinet for CHF 10 at point vert! I love it!

I paint it white and hanged above my fireplace.

My mother-in-law have the same cabinet, but she did not find a use for it so she gave it to me! My plan is to paint it white as well and use it to hang my necklaces and jewelry! It is perfect for it and I will finally be able to see everything I have!

DIY projects

I’ve been busy these past couple of days with some new DIY projects!

After the small round table , I attacked the 2 chairs that we bought together with the table! They were horrible. They have a nice shape but the seat was not good for the eyes!

To match our color scheme I painted them green( machine green) and the seats match our chalet style apartment.

Homemade American biscuits

I love biscuits. For those who doesn’t know what they are, they are a small bread made with baking powder instead of yeast. They are crispy and brown on the outside and fluffy and soft inside. They are delicious. You can serve them as a bread with butter and jam, or with gravy or as part of a dish.

I served them with stuffed red bell peppers. It was yummm!! I made them as healthy and easy as I could!

I made with little butter and whole wheat flour. It was a success!

Olympics

Is it anyone following the Olympics? I am! And let me tell you, I am loving it! Besides the fact that I cry all the time someone win( no matter which country are they from), the Olympics are very exciting!

A lot of interesting things are happening in this Olympics, Michael Phelps won his 18th Gold Medal, Andy Murray is playing Federer in the tennis final, Team GB is doing great and they are 3rd i

Open Air Gampel

This month the Open Air Gampel starts! If you are around you should definitely go. The festival is not as big as many around Switzerland, which is good! They always have good bands playing, the atmosphere is awesome and the location is breathtaking!

The big names this year is Foo Fighters, All Time Low,Royal Republic and many more.

You can also camp at the festival.But make sure to bring if you a torch and plenty of water!

Este mês, o Open Air Gampel começa! Se você estiver por perto você deve definitivamente ir. O festival não é tão grande igual muitos ao redor Suíça, o que é bom! Eles sempre têm boas bandas tocando, a atmosfera é incrível e a localização é de tirar o fôlego!

Vegetable Lasagna

Yesterday I made this Vegetable lasagna!

We loved it! It is creamy, tasty, cheesy and healthier than normal lasagna. It is super easy to make and you can add whatever vegetable you like. I made mine with leeks, broccoli and zucchini.

I also used spinach lasagna sheet instead of the normal one. It adds more flavour and looks better! 🙂

The mozzarella on top is 45% less fat. and you don’t need much. Hubby really enjoyed it and I did too! Hope you will enjoy it as well!

Hair Style

I never know how to style my own hair! I hate this, because I wish I was one of those women that leave their house like they just came back from the hairdresser!

I love the Internet because you can find anything you want! I found this tutorial on the beautydepartment.com and I will give it a try.It looks easy enough!
